Memorial website in the memory of your loved one

This memorial was created in the memory of our loved one, Kyle Kelly McCarthy who was born in Wisconsin on June 27, 1992 and passed away on October 10, 2005 at the age of 13. We will remember him forever.

Kyle was a fun loving boy and was ALWAYS smiling!  His smile could melt your heart and made you remember what it was like to be a kid.  His innocence and sincerity was evident in his desire and willingness to always help people, he always wanted everyone to be happy – just like he was.  His big heart and pleasant nature was contagious infecting all those whom came into contact with him evoking a sense of pride and happiness- just for knowing him.

He is loved and missed every minute.  Kyle loved the outdoors, hunting with his dad and brother, playing video games, playing with his dog Abby, playing with his little cousins, and loved going to watch his brother’s wrestling matches and dreamed up becoming a police officer to help those in need.  He loved summer.  We would go on family trips to our relative’s house.  While we were there he loved knee-boarding, driving the  wave-runner (not to fast - mom was alway watching), fishing, and swimming with his godfather/cousin and his other 2 other cousins. He loved camping with our other relatives and playing with his younger cousins. He looked forward to going to the Dells every year around 4th of July with the neighbors. He would always have one special week/weekend going up to the relative’s house and staying there and hanging out with his special little cousins.  Kyle was the ‘light’ in our lives and while he was only with us for a short time his life has changed us all.
We will always love him but we know he is not alone, he is with those whom have passsed (grandparents and cousin) and in God’s loving embrace looking down on us and SMILING and proud of his family for their strength and courage to keep going.

~*I Can Only Imagine*~

I can only imagine
What it will be like
When I walk
By Your side
I can only imagine
What my eyes will
see
When
Your face
Is before me
I can only imagine

~*Dream Big*~

When you cry be sure to dry your eyes,
cause better days are sure to come.
And when you SMILE be sure to smile wide,
and don't let them know that they have one.
And when you walk, walk with pride,
and don't show the hurt inside,
because the pain sill soon be gone.

And when you dream, dream big, as big as the ocean blue. Cause when you dream it might come true.
When you dream, dream big.

And when you laugh be sure to laugh out loud,
cause it will carry all your cares away.
And when you see, see the beauty
all around and in yourself, and it will help you feel okay.
And when you pray, pray for strength
to help to carry on when the troubles come your way.

When you cry be sure to dry your eyes,
cause better days are sure to come.
And when you SMILE be sure to SMILE WIDE, and
don't let them know that they have one.
And when you laugh be sure to laugh out loud,
cause it will carry all your cares away.
And when you see, see the beauty all
around and in yourself, and it will help you feel okay.
And when you pray, pray for strength to
help to carry on when the troubles come your way.

~writen by friends of Meggie Don and Kyle~

Why did this happen
To a kid so young
With a whole life a head of him
Was his life really done?
We may never know
But we will always care
And know, that he's always going to be there
Like you were for us
In times before
And will be there in times, more and more
We may not be the best
Kids on teh block
But we sure cared about your kid
An awful lot
We will be there for Meg
We will be there for Don
When they call upon us
We will respond
With all out hearts
And all of our soul
We will do our best to make them whole
I know this time is rough
There's nothing we can do
But be there for them
And be there for you
You can call us
Day or night
We will do our best
To make you feel alright
We are really sorry
About your loss
But hey, atleast hes's with the boss
Look up to the sky
In times of need
He will do his best
To help you indeed
We will always remember
We will always love
The one and only
Kyle above

*~When i get where im going by:Brad Paisley~*

When I get where I'm going
On the far side of the sky
The first thing that I'm gonna do
Is spread my wings and fly

I'm gonna land beside a lion
And run my fingers through his mane
Or I might find out what it's like
To ride a drop of rain

Yeah when I get where I'm going
There'll be only happy tears
I will shed the sins and struggles
I have carried all these years
And I'll leave my heart wide open
I will love and have no fear
Yeah when I get where I'm going
Don't cry for me down here

I'm gonna walk with my grand daddy
And he'll match me step for step
And I'll tell him how I missed him
Every minute
since he left
Then I'll hug his neck

Yeah when I get where I'm going
There'll be only happy tears
I will shed the sins and struggles
I have carried all these years
And I'll leave my heart wide open
I will love and have no fear
Yeah when I get where I'm going
Don't cry for me down here

So much pain and so much darkness
In this world we stumble through
All these questions I can't answer
So much work to do

But when I get where I'm going
And I see my maker's face
I'll stand forever in the light
Of his amazing grace
Yeah when I get where I'm going
There'll be only happy tears
Hallelujah
I will love and have no fear
When I get where I'm going
Yeah when I get where I'm going
